Tabs, tipping & reopening

In the most British of reactions to lockdown easing, the nation has breathed a collective sigh of relief: WE CAN LEAVE THE HOUSE AND EAT SOMETHING THAT WASN’T MADE IN OUR KITCHEN.

Hospitality venues are in high demand, with some brands reporting tens of thousands of bookings in the run-up to key reopening dates. What’s more, the public are likely to splash the cash as soon as they can, with Monzo noticing a massive surge in people saving for the big day. (Pubs reopening, not a wedding of course.)

This is clearly excellent news, but at OrderPay we know that after an uncertain year it will be challenging both operationally & for the front-of-house, bar & kitchen teams. So we’ve listened to our operator partners & added more features as standard to support you.

Tipping

This is clearly excellent news, but at OrderPay we know that after an uncertain year it will be challenging both operationally & for the front-of-house, bar & kitchen teams. So we’ve listened to our operator partners & added more features as standard to support you.

Tabs

Unlike other systems on the market, we can offer venues the flexibility of customer tabs. Drinkers & diners aren’t restricted to ‘order now, pay now’ & instead can add items to a tab, both on OrderPay and via front-of-house staff, which is a great option for busy venues & can increase the service charge & tipping amounts.

If you’d like to hear more about tipping, tabs, & how we can support your teams, get in touch.
